Experience

My journey so far

  1. 2020

    Foundation

    Started studying IT

I enrolled in an IT-focused high school in Liberec and quickly realized I did not want to just sit through the classes. I started building my first websites, digging into how things work under the hood, and writing my first code. It was often chaotic, but full of enthusiasm. That is when I understood technology was not just a subject, it was the path I wanted to fully commit to.

  2. 2022

    First clients

    First real projects

After two years of intense learning I moved from school assignments to real commissions. I built my first websites for actual clients, dealing with their goals, feedback and deadlines. I learned to run a project from the first idea to launch, and to communicate so the client knows exactly what they will get and when.

  3. 2024

    Industry

    Internship at KNOWLIMITS Group

A frontend internship in Prague: website updates, animations and interactive elements, UI polish and marketing banners for campaigns. My first taste of working inside an established company.

  4. 2024

    Independent work

    Went freelance

A growing number of projects led me to start my own freelance business. It lets me work with entrepreneurs, companies and institutions and turn their ideas into modern, fast and secure websites and apps. I focus more and more on UX, loading speed and clean code, so a website is not just a pretty business card but a tool that delivers real results.

  5. 2025

    Recognition

    Graduation and the Opora app

A breakthrough year. I passed my final exams in computer science and finished my biggest commission yet: a cross-platform mobile app supporting people in acute mental health crisis, built for NCO NZO and SPIS with React Native, Expo and TypeScript. I designed the UI in Figma and integrated the OpenAI API and GPS-based loading of nearby crisis contacts. The app also served as my graduation thesis and placed highly in the national SOČ student competition.

  6. 2025

    Public sector

WPF developer for the Liberec Region

A six-month contract with the Liberec Regional Authority: end-to-end development of a custom desktop application for office use, designed and built from scratch in close collaboration with the client. C#, .NET and WPF with Excel and SQL database integration, delivered as a production-ready internal tool.

  7. 2025

    Education

    Software engineering at Unicorn University

I do not want to stand still, so I started a bachelor’s degree in computer software engineering at Unicorn University, going deeper into the areas I use in practice: modern web technologies, application architecture and UX. I combine my studies with client projects, so I get to test new knowledge on real solutions right away.

  8. 2026

    Today

Mobile and web developer at veevoy

I joined veevoy full-time, building web and mobile applications end to end: NestJS and Laravel backends, Next.js and React frontends, and React Native apps shipped to the App Store and Google Play. I also integrate AI features through LLM APIs, work with Docker, and communicate with clients throughout the whole project lifecycle.

Beyond the code

Sport keeps my head clear. Karate took me to international tournaments, and the gym keeps me going between projects.
